4) Conducting field visits, laboratory research and scientific studies in various fields that contribute to the service and development of the Yemeni society.
5) Raise the professional and scientific level of workers in the field of oil and oil installations and acquaint them with the equipment that keep pace with modern technology.
6) Providing scientific advice to governmental and non-governmental bodies and companies in the oil fields and cooperating with them in studying and analyzing oil problems and developing appropriate solutions to overcome them to achieve common goals that contribute to the development of oil industries.
7) Exchange experiences and information with governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions such as ministries, companies, universities and colleges of Yemen, Arab and international and cooperate with them in addressing common oil issues and development.
